When my dad passed away, Ayla was still basically a puppy herself.
She would lay with me. Follow me around the house. Sit beside me when I did not want to talk to anyone. Some days, she was the reason I got out of bed at all because no matter how bad I felt, she still needed me.
That taught me something I did not see enough pet brands saying out loud.
